On the twentieth anniversary of World AIDS Day, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has appointed Michel Sidibe as the next Executive Director of UNAIDS and Under-Secretary General of United Nations. Speaking at a function to commemorate World AIDS Day in Doha, the Secretary General expressed his faith in Sidibe's leadership.
